When writing spec for bid, please use the following:

Contractor shall plant where shown, disease-resistant American elms of size indicated.
Elms shall be Ulmus americana "libertas".  This is not a bid item. These trees will be supplied by owner/client or landscape architectural firm as required under the Liberty Elm Grant Program
